Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026.
This is a plain-language template provided for reference and should be reviewed by counsel before launch.
1. Agreement
By creating an account or using Back-Talk (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
2. The Service
Back-Talk answers your missed calls and texts callers back on your behalf, captures leads, and helps book appointments. We don't guarantee any particular volume of bookings or outcomes.
3. Your account
You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for activity under your account, and for keeping your credentials secure. You must be authorized to use any phone number you connect.
4. Acceptable use & messaging compliance
You agree to use the Service only for lawful business communications and to comply with applicable telecom and messaging rules (including A2P 10DLC registration, TCPA, and carrier requirements). You are responsible for obtaining the consent required to message your contacts and for honoring opt-outs. Don't use the Service to send spam, unlawful, deceptive, or harassing messages.
5. Billing & cancellation
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance per agent. Usage above your plan's included messages may incur overage charges at the rate shown on the pricing page. You can cancel anytime; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
6. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties (e.g. telephony and payment providers). Their availability and terms are outside our control.
7. Disclaimers & liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Back-Talk is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the prior twelve months.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
