What we collect
Account details (name, business name, email, phone), the configuration of your agents, and the calls, voicemails, and text conversations the Service processes on your behalf. We also collect basic product-usage analytics to improve the Service.
SMS messaging & consent
Back-Talk sends and receives SMS on your behalf. As the business operating an agent, you are responsible for having the consent required to message your contacts. Where Compliance Mode is enabled, new contacts are asked to opt in (reply YES) before the agent continues the conversation.
Opt-out & help (STOP / HELP)
Recipients can reply STOP at any time to opt out of messages, and HELP for assistance. Opt-outs are honored automatically and suppress further messaging to that number. Message and data rates may apply; message frequency varies.
How we use data
To provide and operate the Service — answering missed calls, generating replies, capturing leads, booking appointments, billing, support, and improving reliability and quality. We do not sell your data.
Service providers
We share data with processors strictly to run the Service — for example telephony (Twilio), payments (Stripe), and language-model and analytics providers — under agreements that limit their use of the data to providing their service to us.
Retention
We retain account and conversation data for as long as your account is active and as needed for legal, billing, and operational purposes, then delete or anonymize it.
Your choices
You can access or update your information in the app, request deletion of your account, and contact us with privacy questions. Recipients control message consent via the opt-in/opt-out keywords above.
